PROFILE
Desu began as a passion for leather accessories and fashion in 2011. In 2016 the designer launched her first women’s collection and a few years later opened her flagship store and production house in Canggu, Bali. The idea behind the brand has always been to create timeless styles with natural materials that make people feel fashionable and comfortable at the same time. It has been about creating form fitting patterns that compliment the figure while bringing in a futuristic and urban edge. The brand launched its first men’s collection a few years later, which focused on the technical aspect of clothing and comfort. The idea behind it was to create classic styles with progressive details that can be worn for any occasion. The brand’s hand dye its fabrics and use its own specific wax technique. Everything from the pattern making to the end production is done in house. The designer believes that her attention to detail and her team that has been working together for many years is why she continues to thrive.
